Significantly this joyous opening marked the beginning of the Mosque’s neighbourly pursuits to act as an interface with the wider community, to help people improve their understanding of Islam and to contribute towards the betterment and prosperity of the people of Small Heath.
Situated in Leicester, in a thriving community that is diverse in ethnicity and rich in culture, the Mosque has firmly established itself as a leading Mosque and as a result it managed to reach the runners up final for UK Model Mosque Award in 2012.
